Airplanes are important transportation in today’s society. When we talked about airplanes, we might be tempted to think of Wright Brothers or Amelia Earhart. Today, we are honored to invite the campus director of the Aviator College of Aeronautical Science and Technology Taiwan, Serchen Chang, to give the school introduction.
These are their admission requirements: TOEIC 600, FAA medical certification, the identity security check, and a certificate of a high school diploma. Compared their requirements with other Universities, their requirements are much simpler. If International students do not achieve these goals, they have another program-Aviation English Program-which will help International students who do not reach the requirements, they can get an ICAO English level 4 certification.
People want to be pilots because they are beneficial from the following reasons: high salaries, boosting their social status and traveling around the world. Though there is a minor drawback of this job, that is, they need to get over jet-lag. Recently, because of the epidemic outbreak, it makes the aviation industry take a hit. Serchen Chang said this is the key time that makes us join the aviation industry because according to the 2008 Financial Crisis, the first renaissance industry is aviation. So, Mr. Chang predicted after the epidemic period, one of the quick recovering industries might be the aviation industry.
Thanks for Serchen Chang sharing their College information for us and making everyone who studies in Kang Chiao learn more about the aviation industry.
